About the Rammun Foundation
The Rammun Foundation was born from a profound moment of connection during one of Gaza’s darkest hours.
When the genocide broke out, I turned to social media to amplify the voices of those affected. One evening, during an Instagram Live session, Ali Karraz—a resident of Gaza—joined the conversation and shared a vivid account of life under occupation and bombardment. Together, we raised enough funds to help Ali evacuate and provide essential food and water for his family.
That single act of solidarity sparked a movement far greater than we could have imagined. Launching a Spotfund campaign to support Ali’s family snowballed into a large-scale initiative to provide aid to Palestinians in dire need. In July 2024, I made a life-changing decision: I left my job to dedicate myself fully to this mission. I traveled to Egypt to connect with Palestinians on the ground, learn about their struggles firsthand, and strategize ways to amplify our impact.
